IFL PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: WEEK 17
The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Players of the Week for Week 17 of the 2026 season. Max Meylor (AZ) is named Offensive Player of the Week, Yahsyn McKee, Sr. (AZ) is named Defensive Player of the Week, and Andrew Mevis (GB) is named Special Teams Player of the Week.
Week 17 featured standout performances across the Indoor Football League, including a six-touchdown effort from one of the league's top quarterbacks, a lockdown performance in the secondary, and a special teams display that proved the difference in a marquee matchup. For their efforts, Arizona's Max Meylor and Yahsyn McKee, Sr., along with Green Bay's Andrew Mevis, have earned Player of the Week honors.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: MAX MEYLOR, QB, ARIZONA RATTLERS
Max Meylor continued his outstanding 2026 campaign with another dominant performance, earning Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season.
The Arizona quarterback completed 12 of 18 passes for 182 yards and five touchdowns while adding 22 rushing yards and another score on the ground. Meylor accounted for six total touchdowns in the Rattlers' Week 17 victory, showcasing the playmaking ability that has made him one of the league's top quarterbacks.
This marks Meylor's second Offensive Player of the Week award of the season after also earning the honor in Week 3. His continued success has helped keep Arizona among the top contenders in the Western Conference as the regular season enters its final stretch.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: YAHSYN McKEE, SR., DB, ARIZONA RATTLERS
Yahsyn McKee, Sr. was a playmaker all night for the Rattlers defense, helping Arizona secure a key divisional win.
The veteran defensive back recorded four tackles, intercepted a pass, and added two pass breakups. McKee consistently disrupted opposing passing lanes and delivered timely plays that helped Arizona control the game defensively.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: ANDREW MEVIS, K, GREEN BAY BLIZZARD
Andrew Mevis delivered one of the most complete kicking performances of the season in Green Bay's road victory over Orlando.
The Blizzard kicker connected on two of three field goal attempts, converted all six extra points, and added two deuces to finish with 16 total points. Mevis' ability to contribute in multiple phases of the kicking game played a major role in Green Bay's victory and helped secure a key road win.
The 2026 IFL season continues Sunday as Week 18 action gets underway across the Indoor Football League.
