The Indoor Football League announces the Players of the Week for Week 6 of the 2026 IFL season. Nate Davis (SD) is named Offensive Player of the Week, Ian McBorrough (VEG) is named Defensive Player of the Week, and Ernesto Lacayo (SD) is named Special Teams Player of the Week.
Offensive Player of the Week – Nate Davis, QB, San Diego Strike Force
Davis delivered one of the most dominant performances of the season, completing 22-of-27 passes for 276 yards and nine touchdowns. His efficiency and command of the offense powered San Diego throughout the game, consistently finding the end zone and overwhelming the opposing defense in a statement win.
Defensive Player of the Week – Ian McBorrough, LB, Vegas Knight Hawks
McBorrough led the defensive effort with 16 total tackles while adding two sacks and two tackles for loss. His presence was felt on nearly every series, disrupting plays in the backfield and anchoring a physical performance for Vegas.
Special Teams Player of the Week – Ernesto Lacayo, K, San Diego Strike Force
Lacayo was perfect on special teams, converting all nine PAT attempts and adding a deuce to finish with 11 points. His consistency and ability to contribute beyond standard kicking duties continue to be a key factor in San Diego's success.
