SIOUX FALLS, SD - The Sioux Falls Storm (2-1) prepare for a week five battle against the Green Bay Blizzard (0-4). Kickoff is set for Saturday, March 24 at 7:05pm.
The Storm look to extend a two-game win streak after winning against the Iowa Barnstormers last Sunday 52-40. In that game, Storm quarterback Lorenzo Brown completed 22 out of 26 passes for 241 yards and four touchdowns along with one rushing touchdown. Storm running back Marques Rodgers had 13 yards and one touchdown while Lyle McCombs McCombs had 20 rushing yards. Wide Receivers Mike Tatum and Judd Harrold each tallied one touchdown and Brandynn Clark reeled in two touchdowns. Defensive lineman Chris Martin lead the defense with seven total tackles, including one sack. Defensive back Jermaine Robinson grabbed one interception.
The Blizzard seek to snap a four-game losing streak after a losing 37-31 in a tightly contested battle against the Arizona Rattlers last week. In that game, Blizzard quarterback Christian Lemay completed 9-13 passes for 70 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Running back Jason Oden Jr. rushed 19 times for 55 yards and one touchdown. Wide receiver Chris Malott reeled in four receptions for 47 yards and two touchdowns. The Blizzard defense tallied 47 total tackles, one sack, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, two interceptions, two pass break-ups, two blocks and one quarterback hurry.
