IFL Top Ten Players All-Time: Number 2

In honor of the IFL's 10th Anniversary season, the IFL is counting down the top ten IFL players of all-time. Coming in at #2 is the IFL's all-time leader in tackles, LB Tyler Knight.

Tyler Knight is one of the most accomplished defensive players in IFL history. Knight joined the IFL as a member of the Arkansas Diamonds in 2010, where he totaled 54 tackles in in his rookie campaign.

The following year, after joining the Sioux Falls Storm, Knight became a key member on five IFL championship Storm squads. During his time with the Storm, Knight was twice named IFL Defensive Player of the Year (2013,2014) and was named a First Team All-IFL LB three times (2013,2014,2016) and a Second Team All-IFL LB twice (2015,2017). A consistant playmaker, Knight totaled more than 100 tackles each year as member of the Storm. He owns the IFL record for most tackles in a season (169) and tackles in a game (21).

Over his seven season IFL career, Knight ranks first all-time in tackles with 852. He has 312 more career tackles than LB Javicz Jones, who ranks second. Knight also ranks fifth all-time in sacks with 30.5.

The countdown will culminate with the announcement of the top IFL player of all-time on February 22, the start of the 2018 IFL season
