Barnstormers Sign Veteran WR

DES MOINES – The Iowa Barnstormers have signed veteran wide receiver Donald Fusilier to the 2018 roster, Head Coach Dixie Wooten announced.

Fusilier (6-1, 205, Lindenwood) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first season with the team. Fusilier first joined the Indoor Football League (IFL) in 2011 with the Wichita Wild. He continued his indoor football career by joining the Cleveland Gladiators in the Arena Football League (AFL) in 2013, appearing in the final game of the season. In 2014, Fusilier returned to the IFL appearing on the Colorado Ice's roster where he made his mark by tying the then-IFL record of five touchdowns in a single game. Fusilier completed the 2014 season with 40 receptions for 346 yards and 13 touchdowns. Fusilier also spent time with the Florida Tarpons of the Ultimate Indoor Football League in 2012.

"Donald is another veteran receiver who knows the game," said Coach Wooten. "He is a guy that works hard and does all the little things. He knows how to attack all coverages and can win against man.
