The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the return of the Sioux Falls Storm for the 2018 season.
The six-time United Bowl champions re-join the IFL after departing earlier this offseason. During the 2017 season, the Storm averaged 7,118 fans per games and were named the United Conference champions. Off the field, the Storm raised over $150,000 in charitable contributions for the betterment of the Sioux Falls community.
"We pride ourselves in offering our community the best product in the industry, and given the restrictions, stipulations and restraints that were being placed on us we could not possibly offer what Storm Nation is accustomed to," said Storm Owner Todd Tryon. "As we stepped away from the IFL and explored another option, it became glaringly obvious that the IFL was and is the best league in the industry."
"We are very happy to welcome the Sioux Falls Storm back to the IFL family," said IFL Commissioner Michael Allshouse. "The Storm are one of the preeminent indoor football organizations in the country and their success is a true testament to the quality of their organization and passionate fanbase."
The Indoor Football League has concluded its Annual League meetings and IFL fans and followers can expect additional information about the 2018 season soon.
