Green Bay, WI- The Green Bay Blizzard have announced that defensive back Tyrell Pearson has decided to return for his second full season in 2018.
Pearson (5'9" 170-South Alabama) finished the 2017 season with 61 tackles and led the team with 6 interceptions and 11 pass break-ups. He also had 586 yards and 2 touchdowns as a kick returner.
"As a coach, you spend your off-season looking at things you can improve and do better in your philosophy and approach first. When you get to the roster part of it and see Tyrell Pearson's name,
you realize really quickly that to move forward successfully that he is one of the guys you have to have on the team," stated Blizzard Head Coach Chris Williams.
" I'm just excited to be coming back," stated Pearson. "I want to become the best player that I can be. After my first full season in Green Bay last year, I now know what to expect. I also want to become
one of our primary leaders. My goal is to win games here with the Blizzard and to make it to the highest level of the game."
In another personnel move today, the Blizzard also added offensive lineman D'Mon Tucker (6'6" 310-Lane College) to the 2018 roster.
