The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 11 of the 2017 IFL season.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Darrell Monroe (RB, Arizona Rattlers)

The Arizona Rattlers rebounded from last week's loss to the Spokane Empire with a 64-29 rout of the Green Bay Blizzard in Week 11. The Rattlers took advantage of a weak Blizzard run defense by gashing Green Bay for 211 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Leading the pack on the ground was RB Darrell Monroe. Monroe (6'2,220, Arizona Western) rushed for a league-high 142 yards on just 16 carries, an astonishing 8.9 yards per carry. He also added a 30 yard touchdown in the third quarter. Monroe has rushed for more than 75 yards in two of his last three games and has 390 rushing yards on the season. This is Monroe's second Offensive Player of the Week award this season. The Rattlers travel to the face the Cedar Rapids Titans in Week 12.

Honorable Mention: Jamal Miles (WR, Arizona Rattlers), Bryan Pray (WR, Spokane Empire), Tyler Williams (RB, Wichita Falls Nighthawks), Marquel Willis (GB, Green Bay Blizzard)

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: James Calhoun (DB, Salt Lake Screaming Eagles)

The Salt Lake Screaming Eagles came up just short in their upset bid against the Spokane Empire 31-29. The Screaming Eagles defense shut down the potent Empire offense and limited QB Charles Dowdell all night long. DB James Calhoun had an eye for the ball all throughout the game as the ballhawk DB snagged three interceptions on the evening. Additionally, Calhoun (5'11,195, Riverside City) helped give the Screaming Eagles an early second half lead as he pulled down a tipped pass and returned it 15 yards for a touchdown. It was Calhoun's second game in a row with an interception return for a touchdown. Over the last two games, Calhoun has rocketed to near the top of the IFL's interception leaderboard as he is now tied for second with four interceptions on the season. Calhoun finished his night with seven tackles, three interceptions and an interception return for a touchdown. Salt Lake faces the Colorado Crush in Week 12.

Honorable Mention: Michael Green (DB, Wichita Falls Nighthawks), Dee Maggitt Jr. (DB, Iowa Barnstormers), Tyler Knight (LB, Sioux Falls Storm), Nikolas Sierra (LB, Nebraska Danger)

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Tyler Williams (KR, Wichita Falls Nighthawks)

The Wichita Falls Nighthawks did what no team has done in 2017; beat the Sioux Falls Storm. The Nighthawks knocked off the Storm 44-36 in a surprisingly defensive battle. RB/KR Tyler Williams proved to be an essential cog to the Nighthawks' plan all night as he combined for 226 total yards. Williams (5'7,175, Akron) contributed in a variety of different ways as he had seven kick returns for 139 yards, 19 rushes for 52 yards and four touchdowns, and four receptions for 35 yards. Three of Williams' four touchdown runs came in the first half and helped the Nighthawks build an insurmountable lead. Through the first eleven weeks of the season, Williams leads the IFL in all-purpose yards (1,489) and scoring (116 points). This is Williams second IFL Special Teams Player of the Week award this season. The Nighthawks host the Nebraska Danger in Week 12.
