The Indoor Football League (IFL) is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 10 of the 2017 IFL season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Liam Nadler (QB, Colorado Crush)
The Colorado Crush pulled off the biggest upset of the year in Week 10 as they knocked off the Wichita Falls Nighthawks in a 77-73 instant classic. The Crush exploded out of the gate against Wichita Falls as they scored 26 points in the first quarter alone. Key to their success was the stellar play of QB Liam Nadler. Nadler guided the team to a season-high in points while leading the back and forth scoring affair. Nadler tossed for 273 yards, tied for second highest in the IFL this season, and seven touchdowns. He also added two additional rushing touchdowns, bringing his total to nine on the game. Nadler connected with WR Kyle Kaiser for the game-winning touchdown with just 17 seconds remaining to help seal the Crush's victory. Colorado looks build on their offensive success as they face the Iowa Barnstormers in Week 11.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Eze Obiora (DL, Nebraska Danger)
After faltering in back-to-back games, the Nebraska Danger got back into the win column in Week 10, taking down the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles 49-30. The Danger shut down the Screaming Eagles third ranked offense by allowing only 180 offensive yards. The defensive line led by DL Eze Obiora harassed Screaming Eagles QB Verlon Reed all night long and combined for six sacks. Obiora led the charge racking up 3.5 sacks, the most in an IFL game this season. Obiora's finished the game with six tackles and 3.5 sacks accounted for 34 lost yards. With his season-high performance, Obiora is now tied for second in the IFL in sacks with six. The Nebraska Danger host the Cedar Rapids Titans in Week 11.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Trevor Kennedy (KR, Spokane Empire)
In a showdown between two longtime rivals, the Spokane Empire came out victorious over the Arizona Rattlers 60-51. In a game filled with hard hits and hard earned yards, it was RB/KR Trevor Kennedy who helped provide a spark that led to the Empire's victory. Early in the fourth quarter with Arizona just having taken a two point lead, Kennedy returned Arizona's kickoff 54 yards for a touchdown to help Spokane retake the lead. The quick score would help the Empire hold on to score a game-winning FG with just 51 seconds remaining. The 2016 IFL Offensive Player of the Year also scored both a rushing and receiving touchdown in the game. The Empire look to continue to hold the top place in the Intense Conference this week as they host the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles.
