"This Week in the IFL" Week 7 Now Live

A new episode of the IFL's podcast, "This Week in the IFL", is now available, featuring interviews with Salt Lake Screaming Eagles Head Coach Matt Sauk and Green Bay Blizzard DB Manny Asprilla.

"This Week in the IFL" host Denis Puska recaps the exciting action from Week 6of the 2017 IFL season.  He also previews the upcoming Week 7 schedule that features several outstanding matchups such as the Wichita Falls Nighthawks vs the Arizona Rattlers and the Nebraska Danger vs the Spokane Empire, among others.

Puska's first guest is Screaming Eagles Head Coach Matt Sauk. Sauk enters his third game as Screaming Eagles coach after taking over responsibilities early in the season. The veteran coach is assembling a dynamic offense as the Screaming Eagles rank fourth in points per game (40.0) and yards per game (229.5). Puska chats with Sauk about the Screaming Eagles upcoming Week 7 matchup vs the Colorado Crush, the fans' input on play-calling and an ascending offense led by QB Verlon Reed.

Puska's second guest is Blizzard DB Manny Asprilla.  Asprilla is off to a fantastic start in his first IFL season. After the team's first five games, Asprilla is tied for the IFL lead in interceptions with 4. He has also returned two of those for interceptions, most importantly returning one of those for a last minute game winner vs Cedar Rapids. Puska discusses with Asprilla how he has made such as strong start to the season and the team's upcoming Week 7 matchup vs the Cedar Rapids Titans.
