The Tri-Cities Fever would like to announce the signing of wide receiver Markeith Ambles (6'2" 205lbs) from University of Houston and running back Joseph Snell (5'11" 210lbs) from East Central University in Oklahoma.

Markeith Ambles was originally recruited by University of Southern California in 2011, but then played at Arizona Western in 2012.  While at Arizona, Ambles had 44 receptions for 757 yards and 6 touchdowns. Ambles finished his college career at University of Houston (2013 and 2014).  Ambles played in 27 games during his two seasons at Houston.  During that time he had 50 receptions for 794 yards.  In the 2014 publication of "The Rookie Scouting Portfolio" on NFL draft picks, Markeith Ambles is described as "Playing Big" or someone who understand the boundaries of his physical tools and knows how to maximize his assets.

Joseph Snell (JoJo) transferred to ECU from Mississippi Gulf Coast.  During his time in Mississippi, JoJo averaged 45.6 yards per game and tallied 502 yards on 62 carries. In 2013 at ECU he recorded over 100 yards rushing in two games, rushed 136 times for 426 yards and five touchdowns, 26 receptions for 3 touchdowns and 416 yards and 100 all purpose yards.  As a senior, Snell set the Great American Conference (GAC) record for all purpose yards per game.  He finished the season with 1,482 all purpose yards, 159 yards receiving and 533 yards.  Snell was named to the All GAC first team.
