Fort Collins, CO— The Colorado Ice have partnered with the The Loveland Elks Lodge #1051, in Loveland, Colorado, for the 9/11 Community Blood Drive on September 7th, 8th and 10th, with a community-wide celebration to be held on September 11th at Loveland Elks Lodge #1051, 103 East 4th St., Loveland, CO.
The Colorado Ice will have a group of four giving blood on Monday, September 10th and on September 11th, there will be a raffle for two season tickets to the Colorado Ice Football Season, as well as other drawings and prizes at the 9/11 Celebration beginning at 4 pm at the Loveland Elks Lodge.
The blood drive is coordinating with four blood centers in Northern Colorado, Banner Health McKee Medical Center and Northern Colorado Medical Center, Bonfils Blood Center and the Garth Englund Blood Center-A Service of Poudre Valley Hospital. The goal for the blood drive is set at 911 pints collected.
Some of the community partners involved are Mueller & Associates CPA, Guaranty Bank, Henry’s Pub, Light-Speed Color, McKinney Entertainment, Weedin Agency, Inc., Elevations Credit Union, Generations Wine & Martini Bar and Grimm Brothers Brewhouse. Grimm Brothers is providing certificates for “Give a Pint, Get a Pint” for the blood drive as well.
